sorttable: Unobtrusive DHTML table sorting

sorttable from kryogenix.org is simply not to be missed.

Hopefully I’ve made that clear, now on to the installation instructions.

  1. Include the JavaScript sorttable.js library
  2. Give your table a class of “sortable”
  3. Make sure your table has an id attribue
  4. Sprinkle a little CSS to taste

Holy crap and fan-fucking-tastic. Many thanks to Stuart Langridge for this wonderful piece of code.

    maybe it is not obtrusive, but it is certainly not XML ready!!! innerHTML!!!!

    Who said it was XML-ready innerHTML? What does that even mean? Could you possibly be referring to AJAX? WTF are you responding to?
